In order to study new manufacturing criteria, Felice invests in state-of-the-art machinery and specialized labor.
Felice’s ambition is to combine the robustness and durability of creations from the Italian leather-making tradition with the refinement of inventions from beyond the Alps.
Skilled artisans from Germany and France are hired to train local workers, allowing the Franzi factory to achieve ever higher standards of quality.
Under Felice’s leadership, Valigeria Franzi’s production quickly reaches an exceptional level of stylistic and qualitative perfection, making Franzi creations appreciated both in Italy and abroad.
In parallel with its industrial activity, in 1905 Felice opens stores in Milan and Rome, later expanding abroad with points of sale in Vienna and London.
Franzi thus becomes the first brand to develop an international retail network.
Following his professional successes, Felice Franzi receives several honors from the Royal House of Savoy. In 1905, he is awarded the title of Knight of the Order of Merit for Labour.
Franzi is then appointed Official Supplier to the Crown of Italy.
