For more than 150 years, our artisans have been working with passion to create beautiful, functional and durable objects. We are proud to choose the best materials available and to use sophisticated manufacturing techniques that combine tradition and innovation. Leather is a natural material and therefore each item might present shades and features that represent its uniqueness.

In order to preserve the beauty of your handbag over time, we recommend you to follow the instructions below:

  • Do not overload and do not crush the handbag. This helps to maintain its original shape;

  • Keep away from heat sources (e.g. from radiators or from the inside of an overheated car) and avoid direct and prolonged exposure to light;

  • Protect from water and keep away from damp environments. If exposed to rain, dab it with a dry and soft cloth and let it dry naturally;

  • Do not put in contact with oils, creams, detergents, make-up or perfumes; - Be careful not to rub the handbag against rough or abrasive surfaces. Light scratches can be softened if gently massaged with a soft and dry cloth;

  • Avoid prolonged contact with dark clothing if the handbag is light in colour and vice versa if the handbag is dark in colour;

  • To polish metal parts, use only a soft, light-coloured and dry cloth without using any kind of cleaning or polishing product;

  • Do not use products to preserve or revive the skin such as waxes, creams or waterproofing agents. These substances may irreversibly alter colour and finish. With time, the handbag might acquire a patina. This is associated with the natural origin of the materials used and it will give character to the object itself;

  • Store the handbag inside its dust bag when not in use and preferably in a vertical position. Ideally fill the handbag with light-coloured paper or fabric to maintain its shape. It is also recommended to detach, roll up and store the shoulder strap separately.

SHOULDER STRAP INSTRUCTIONS

The shoulder strap of your handbag is located inside the central pocket. Pull it out gently from its dust bag and remove the protective paper tissue. Open the end of the shoulder strap, releasing the leather tongue from the metal button to which it is attached and removing it from the loop.

(1) Insert the leather tongue, from the inside out, into the metal ring at the base of the handbag handle.

(2) Attach the leather tongue to the metal button, after inserting it through the loop.

(3) Repeat the procedure for both sides of the handbag, ensuring that the ends of the shoulder strap are well attached to the metal buttons.

To adjust the length of the shoulder strap to your needs, you can use the buckle by choosing one of the available holes.
