Fernanda re-proposes the brand’s iconic elements, such as the leather-covered bar with rivets and the dagger-shaped clasp, resulting in an extremely light and deconstructed model.

Fernanda is a tote bag dedicated to the Milanese icon Fernanda Wittgens, the first female appointed director of the Pinacoteca di Brera Museum, in 1940.

She was a true contemporary heroine, preventing the looting of art pieces under the Nazi occupation and taking charge of the post-War reconstruction of “Teatro alla Scala” and the restoration of the “Last Supper” by Leonardo da Vinci. Inspired by such a strong and sophisticated personality, Franzi’s tote bag caters to a dynamic and independent woman.

Fernanda is conceived to offer a maximum practicality and capacity while maintaining an elegant and feminine silhouette.

The two wide leather handles allow Fernanda to be carried either by hand or on the shoulder, internally it features a generous zipped pocket, two leather-edged compartments and a zipped canvas clutch, secured internally with a leather strap and a hook.

Lined inside with the brand’s archive pattern, the colour combination of the fabric always matches the outer leather.

Entirely made in Italy, Fernanda is proposed in different colours of Cuoio Franzi printed calfskin, a leather linked to the brand's history, and known for its durability and versatility
